Mr. Pegalis is currently the Managing Member of Acclaim Properties, LLC. In this capacity he manages all aspects of commercial real estate investments, including due diligence, acquisition, financing, leasing, capital improvements, re-positioning and  TI projects, property management, and disposition.  He is also currently VP-Development for S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co.

He is a member of the Richmond Real Estate Group (RREG) and the Greater Richmond Association of Commercial Real Estate Executives (GRACRE).  Mr. Pegalis is a member of the Leadership Metro Richmond's Leadership Quest class of 2019.   He is also a founding board member of The Collaboratory of Virginia, a non-profit co-working facility exclusively for non-profits.  He previously served as a member of the Board of Director for the National Capital Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Weinstein Jewish Community Center.  For his work with the Weinstein JCC, Mr. Pegalis received the LeRoy Goldberg Emerging Leadership Award in May, 2009. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association.  He co-authored the number-one-selling Y2K business preparedness book: Y2K Risk Management: Contingency Planning, Business Continuity and Avoiding Litigation, Goldberg, Davis & Pegalis (John Wiley & Sons, 1999).

 

Mr. Pegalis graduated from Emory University in 1990, with a B.A. in Economics and The American University - Washington College of Law in 1995, with a Juris Doctor.  He was named in Who’s Who of American Law Students in 1994 and International Who’s Who of Information Technology, 1998 and 1999.

Andrew has been living, developing and investing for the past 14 years in Richmond, VA. He currently  lives in Short Pump with his 2 children Brooklyn and Beckett.
